I was the Managing Director at Pegasus Players from 1985 to 1990. In 1986 I created, organized and raised funds for the first Chicago Young Playwrights Festival. The founder and Artistic Director of the theater, Arlene Crewdson, was (and remains) committed to making live theater available to all, regardless of their ability to pay or their prior experience with the arts. The theater had a thriving touring program that brought entertainers to senior citizens throughout the city. I simply developed a program that extended the theater's outreach program to young people. Visit the Pegasus Players web site at www.pegasusplayers.org.
